Rocket League in the Benelux is being elevated this year, with the integration of the game into the Elite Series ecosystem alongside household names like Counter-Strike and League of Legends.
The competition follows a simple familiar structure: a Spring Split and a Summer Split with a total prize pool of €15,000. Each Split is played as a Single Round Robin between all 8 teams (10 teams in Summer), culminating in a King-of-the-Hill style Playoff between the top four teams of the Split.
Teams face off every Tuesday as of 18:30, with the first matchday on 16 August. Week 5 and 7 are Super Weeks with an extra matchday on the Wednesday.
The 10 teams we see facing off in the ESRL have been invited based on their activities over the past years within the realm of Benelux esports.
After the Spring Split we saw teams Heracles Almelo and HEET join the fray to get us to 10 teams for the Summer Split.
